CPA traffic for crypto and Web3 offers

Crypto offers — exchanges, wallets, trading platforms, Web3 products — monetize through funded accounts, which makes them a natural fit for CPA and FTD models. This page explains how acquisition works in this vertical: which events are billable, why the funnel differs from classic finance, and which GEO and platform restrictions you must account for.

How we work with your offer

01.Brief

You submit the offer with vertical, GEOs, payout model and KPI definition.

02.KPI & caps agreement

Both sides confirm in writing what is billable, what is capped and what is prohibited.

03.Test

A capped pilot on agreed sources with postback verification.

04.Optimization

Sources and creatives are filtered by your approval data, not just conversion counts.

05.Scale

Volume grows only on cohorts that meet the agreed KPI.

Billable events in crypto

The crypto funnel has several candidate events: registration, completed KYC, first deposit (crypto or fiat), first trade, and reaching a deposit or volume threshold. The two most common billable actions are the funded account — a first deposit of an agreed minimum — and the first trade. Paying per bare registration in crypto invites low-quality volume; paying per funded account aligns the buyer with your revenue. Some deals are tiered: a smaller payout at KYC completion and the main payout at deposit or trade. As in every vertical, event definitions, minimums and attribution windows are fixed in writing per offer — terms are discussed individually, and we do not publish generic rates.

How the crypto funnel differs

Crypto funnels carry two specific friction points. The first is KYC: identity verification is mandatory on regulated platforms, and a meaningful share of registrations never complete it — so the registration-to-KYC rate is a first-class quality metric, not a detail. The second is the deposit path: fiat on-ramps vary by GEO, and users drop when their local payment method or currency is unsupported. A funnel that converts in one GEO can fail in another purely on payments. Before scaling, confirm that your KYC flow works on mobile, in the target language, and that deposits support the GEO's common methods. Traffic quality can then be judged on events that actually depend on the source.

KPIs beyond the deposit

For exchanges the deposit is the start: the metrics that define a valuable user are trading activity, fee generation, retention and lifetime volume. When you share per-source cohort data — KYC rate, deposit rate, activity — the buying side can separate sources that bring speculators who fund once from sources that bring users who stay. Define scaling gates in the brief: for example, volume increases only for cohorts whose KYC and deposit rates hold at agreed levels. This is especially important in crypto, where incentivized signups and airdrop hunters can flood weak setups with worthless registrations.

GEO and platform restrictions

Crypto advertising is restricted on many platforms and in many jurisdictions, and the rules change frequently. Major ad platforms require certification for crypto advertisers in specific countries; some GEOs prohibit crypto promotion outright; others restrict certain product types such as derivatives. As the advertiser you are responsible for the legality of your offer and its promotion in each GEO, including holding any required registrations or licenses. We confirm GEO and placement fit during onboarding and do not run offers where promotion is prohibited. Note: in licensed verticals (gambling, trading, pharma-adjacent nutra), the advertiser is responsible for holding the required licenses and following the laws of each target GEO and the rules of every traffic source. We do not help bypass platform policies or legal restrictions.

What makes a crypto offer buyable

From the buyer's side, a crypto offer is workable when four things are in place: a postback that fires reliably on the agreed event (Keitaro, Everflow, Affise, TUNE, CAKE, Binom, RedTrack or your own tracking); a payout that reflects your funded-account economics; caps that match your onboarding capacity; and creative rules that keep promotion inside platform policies. Submit the offer through the brief, and we will tell you directly whether the unit economics support a pilot and in which GEOs.

What you get

  • Managed media buying against your KPI
  • Reporting on conversions and validation status
  • Fraud filtering and source quality control
  • Dispute resolution against written terms and logs

What we need from you

  • Tracking with a working postback on the billable event
  • Creative rules and legal constraints per GEO
  • Fast approval feedback on leads and conversions
  • License confirmation where your vertical requires it

Transparency

Reports, postbacks and disputed conversions are handled against written KPI terms and logs on both sides. Payout models, schedules and hold periods are agreed individually per offer and confirmed in writing before traffic starts.

FAQ

Q.Which event should be billable: registration, KYC or deposit?

For most crypto products, the funded account (first deposit) is the right billable event, optionally with a smaller tier at KYC completion. Bare registrations attract incentivized volume that never funds. The exact structure is agreed per offer.

Q.Do you run crypto offers in restricted GEOs?

No. We run only where promotion of your product is permitted and where placement policies allow it. GEO fit is confirmed during onboarding, and we decline setups that would require violating platform or legal rules.

Q.How do you filter airdrop hunters and fake signups?

Through source-level scoring, device and behavioral signals, deduplication, and reconciliation with your KYC and deposit data. Sources that systematically deliver non-funding registrations are removed from rotation.

Q.What payout economics work for exchanges?

The payout must reflect your lifetime value per funded account in the target GEO, minus your target margin, and still exceed the media cost of acquiring a funding user there. Share your numbers in the brief — we assess feasibility case by case.

Q.Which tracking setups do you support?

Keitaro, Everflow, Affise, TUNE (HasOffers), CAKE, Binom, RedTrack and in-house postback solutions. Postback correctness on the billable event is verified before any traffic starts.

Q.Can the pilot be capped?

Yes — capped pilots are the default. You set daily or total caps per GEO; volume scales only after the pilot cohort passes your KYC and deposit quality gates.

Q.What creatives are allowed for crypto?

Ones that follow platform policies: no guaranteed returns, no misleading claims, appropriate risk framing. You are responsible for the legality of your messaging; we enforce the agreed creative rules on our sources.

Q.Do you work with DeFi or token products?

Case by case. The deciding factors are legality in target GEOs, funnel measurability, and whether a clear billable event exists. Submit the brief and we will give you a direct answer.
